Things are really looking up for the comeback woman, Hillary Clinton. The latest CNN headline reads, “Poll says McCain should fear Clinton.” The poll shows that Clinton beats McCain by 9 points, but in an Obama McCain matchup, it’s a statistical tie. No wonder Karl Rove is dishing out the advice to Obama on how to beat Clinton…

A new ad by the National Republican Senatorial Committee against Al Franken, centering around the mere possiblity that Franken might endorse Obama…

Women’s reproductive rights are civil rights

When looking through Obama’s website in order to gauge where he stands on reproductive rights, I became very upset when I literally couldn’t find any mention of abortion or scientifically based sex-ed. Not in his section on healthcare, not in his section on poverty, not in his section on education, nowhere.

Obama says he doesn’t take money from oil companies. We say that’s a little too slick.


In a new ad, Obama says, “I don’t take money from oil companies.”

Technically, that’s true, since a law that has been on the books for more than a century prohibits corporations from giving money directly to any federal candidate. But that doesn’t distinguish Obama from his rivals in the race.
